She weighs 7 lbs. 12 oz and is 20 inches long.

She is healthy and our family is doing very well.

Thirty-nine Weeks

One week to go until D day, although, I'm anticipating going late because I went six days over with Juliette. I'm still feeling great and doing lots of activities to keep me busy. This week I've decided to enroll Juliette in Drama Camp, along with her cousin James. I'm also volunteering with her class of 14 students, preschool through first grade. At the end of the week they'll perform in the play called Revved Up for a local nursing home and a public showing at the church. During the week the kids have been practicing songs, making props, and having lots of fun.

Camp: Kayaking and Fishing with Papa

This is camp, where my family and I have been staying. I love the large front lawn over-looking the water. The camp itself is very rustic, but has the potential to be quite nice if a little work was put into it.

Juliette and her Papa kayaking and fishing/netting. This is the day we lost our fishing net. What a poor design, who on earth would design a sinking fishing net? We'll have to pay better attention next time we buy one or tie a bouy on the end.

A Perfect Day for Picking Peas

The other day Juliette and I drove to Wayne, Maine for PYO (Pick Your Own) strawberries. They were only $1.60/lb. which is a lot better then some places we've picked back home in Concord, NH. When we got there we were delighted that they also had PYO peas! I haven't picked peas since I was a child on my grandparent's farm. I was so excited to be able to share this experience with my daughter. We had a blast!

Juliette was thrilled about pea pods being shaped like letter "J"s for Juliette.
