It was like a ghost town at Eastman park last weekend. We expected there to be quite a crowd, especially after the newly-fallen snow. The sticky kind, perfect for snowman-making. But we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived because we were the park's only visitors.
We immediatly let Ginger off leash to leap around the snow like a snow bunny. She is only 14 lbs so you can probably imagine how difficult it might be for a small dog to "run" in a foot of fresh snow.
We started brainstorming ideas for snowmen. Juliette wanted to build a snow kennel for Ginger which sadly didn't work out because we couldn't add the top so instead, she built a baby bed.
Dan is all about building unusual snowmen. His idea was to make a snowman peering through the fence, but not just peering through the fence...actually penetrating the fence so that it's head was on once side and the rest of it's body on the other. I honestly didn't know how this was going to turn out, but once again I was surprised.
