One Froggy Day

When we lived in Bangor, Maine there was a cemetery that had an awesome frog pond. Luckily, when we moved to New Hampshire, the cemetery here had a frog pond too! We pretty much have frog catching down to an art. If you need some advice look below:

1.) Stalk: frogs can be tricky. They are quick jumpers. Try not to make sudden movements, this scares them away. Sometimes it helps to sit in one place for awhile, like Juliette is doing.

2. Swoop: When you have a target, swoop the net over the frog in one quick motion.

3. Scoop: Once your net is over the frog, scoop the frog up in one solid movement.

4. "Tie": You don't really tie the net, but you've gotta do something to keep the frog from jumping out!

Success!

Look how huge this freshwater snail is!
