Lions and Tigers and Bears...Maine's Wildlife Park

My family had a mini-cation in Maine after finals. On Wednesday we decided to visit the Maine Wildlife Park. I had taken Juliette a few years ago when I lived in Poland Spring. It looks like they have improved some of the animals' habitats because they have expanded quite a bit since the last time we visited, but it was still hard to take picture of the animals because of the wire cages.

My mom came along too, which was good because we had another person to switch off taking Juliette to the bathroom. Ha! This is a new addition to the park, tank with native fish.

Looking at the deer. There was a sign that stated adults and children may have allergic reactions to deer saliva. Who knew?

We were feet away from this moose. It was very exciting!

This is the ground hog habitat.

Right after this picture was taken this little ground hog fell right out of that log and tumbled down the hill!

This turkey was roaming around the park. I don't think hes a resident, but he wasn't scared of people at all.

Last stop, ice cream!
